Accessibility

Exhibit

Our main entrance is reached by a few stairs or via a ramp on the left side of the main doors. From there, a manual elevator will take you to the lobby for check-in. An elevator attendant will be assigned to you to help you navigate the space. The only space that is not accessible is our “Juliet” Balcony that is reserved for Date Night Packages only and requires two flights of stairs. If the Juliet Balcony is inaccessible to you and you have purchased a Date Package, please notify the box office at https://vangoghchicago.com/contacts/ to arrange accommodations.

Bathrooms

There are bathrooms on all three floors of our exhibit. There are accessible stalls in both men’s and women’s bathroom and a family restroom on the Balcony level.

Sensory Advisory

This exhibition contains bright lights that may cause discomfort for people with photosensitive epilepsy. Viewer discretion is advised.

Part of the immersive experience is the music which can at times be loud. This may cause discomfort for people with sensitive hearing. Earplugs are available upon request. If you need to leave the gallery, you are welcome to re-enter through the lobby after taking a break.

Mobility Aids and Service Animals

Wheelchairs, walkers, and scooters are all permitted. We have one first-come, first-serve wheelchair on-site for those who need it, and a number of folding chairs that can be brought into the exhibit for folks who have a hard time standing for extended periods of time. Service animals are permitted in the gallery.
